A1-Lockman Security was established early in 1991. Over 20 years of experience makes us equipped to deal with most lock orientated problems. We operate what we and many of our existing customers consider to be a very fair and competitive charging system. For most work within the Edinburgh and Lothians area we charge only for time on site (subject to a minimum one hour charge). There are no seperate call out charges over and above our labour charges. Rates for work out-with our normal work area are available on request.
Subject to workload we may also be able to carry out work on behalf of other locksmith or service companies that are not based within the Edinburgh and Lothian area. Please contact us to discuss further.
We specialise in lock changes and in most cases can cut or supply additional keys on site which are guaranteed to work. Another area of expertise is in UPVC multipoint and double glazing locks. With access to extensive stocks held by our wholesalers we can normally source replacement locks or compatible products for UPVC multipoint lock systems in a matter of days. Unlike some of our competitors in this area we will not try to sell you a new door - (we don't sell doors).
Our extensive customer base includes estate agents, private and commercial landlords, property factors, public sector organisations, corporate customers plus of course the general public. Many of our customers have used our services since the business was established in 1991.
We carry public liability insurance for £5,000,000.
For our customers peace of mind the locksmith has undergone "Disclosure Scotland" checks.
(This is equivalent to CRB checks.)
We offer discounts on non emergency work to various groups including charitable organisations plus fellow FSB members.
All work carried out at your home or premises is covered by a minimum 12 month warranty for both materials and labour. If at any time during this period you are dissatisfied with our work, you have the reassurance that we will be more than happy to rectify anything which may be causing you concern.
